Planning one last trip with my SWB...family expanding
Any pointers where to stay ( camp, self catering or b&b) in Cederberg e.g Wupperthal area or any area not too far from Cape Town.
We have been to Algeria before but want to go off the beaten track and discover the peaceful surroundings of the Cederberg. We are mountain bikers, love photography and want to do a 4 x 4 route....
Please advise if are familiar with the area!

There is an area, Cederberg Chalets, about 40 km north from Mount Ceder, which in turn is 90 km from Ceres on the road to Algeria. One turns off to the right at the split of the roads to Algeria & Wuppertal at Matjiesrivier. I have not been there myself, but a friend, who likes the solitude of the Cedarberg, says it is great. It is totally self-catering & one has to obtain the key for the gate, which gives access to the area, at Mount Ceder. Thank you Francois I booked a chalet at the Enjo Nature Farm near Wupperthal.
Will keep this option in mind for future.
