Hi all.
There are now meat restrictions in place when exiting Etosha.
I just came back from a long weekend trip to Etosha, and to my surprise they inspected my fridge for meat when exiting (I entered and exited through Anderson gate @ Okaukuejo).
No uncooked pork and only vacuum packed red meat are allowed.
I luckily did not have anything left over, as only packed enough for the weekend and I stay in Windhoek. Could be a big trip spoiler if doing a long trip.
The restrictions used to only be when driving from north to south across old red line( Oshivelo gate on tar road), so not sure why Etosha now also suddenly checked, as all entrances and exists are South of the line.
