Good day gents,

I know I have read something about this somewhere, but a search came up empty, so please help: How do I reset the service indicator?

My 3.8V6 is due for its first dervice after the maint plan. You may recall that I did an "inbetween" oil change and the engine is now running on DELO 400.

If I take the car to the dealer for the 105k service, then I'm not too convinced that they will put DELO in on my request. If I use my indi (where I will definitely get DELO 400), then I'm not too sure how to reset the service indicator.

Mine was also out and i was told that it can only be reset via the computer?not sure how true this is.

From what I can remember is that any distance or time can be set (when it gets gone ), so ideally would one like to set it for 20 years and 2 million km and forget about it. When these great 3.8V6 motors get there, it will hopefully be the next owner's problem
