I have purchased a new (2013) Pajero GLX LWB and cannot believe that you cannot get and rubber matts from any Mitsubishi dealers in Durban. I'm now going to be doing a 2 week trip trough Lesotho (hopefully in some snow) with carpets.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy decent rubber matts that actually fit the vehicle properly, not the cheap local hardware type.

If you are serious about protecting the carpets your best bet is Takla TakMats that are custom made to each vehicle model. They are waterproof and cover the whole carpet area not just the bottom part.

Expensive but quality product for the rest of the vehicles life. I have a set in my Pajero for a few years now and am very impressed.
