Can someone please give me an indication of the cost of a complete engine rebuild. I have a 1999 SWB 3 litre 24 valve model with 240 000 km on the clock. I have replaced the spark plugs & also checked the compression of each cylinder. Sadly they are all near the minimum specification of 875 kPa.

How much did the compression improve after you squirted some oil down the pots?
