I have aquired a gen 4 glx 2007 model and was wondering if the car had traction controll, because there is no rear difflock and I would suspect that the Glx would have some traction aids.
It does have a anti skid off button next to the radio..
Can anybody shed some light on this for me please

It would have electronic traction control and also electronic stability control (the latter can be turned off using the button on the dash that you mention, while the former is always on). The early Gen 4 GLXs were specced that way (i.e. Identically to the GLS in this respect), while the later ones have a rear diff lock in addition to the electronic aids.

I find it hard to believe you bought a pajero,I see no photo evidence of it.
