Hello Everyone.

It is time for me to buy another pajero as my gen 2.5 is paid up in full. I am looking at a price of no more than R120K and found a couple that I want to go check out.

I have never owned a diesel before and have no idea what to look for or listen for on the 3.2 did motor. Any advice would be appreciated. Also what mileage can one expect to attain on a 3.2 did without major problems? I know one will go for 500K Km's and the other for 10Km but a average?

I had a quick look at the Autotrader website.

The two Pajeros that fall closest to your price are:

1)2001 LWB 3.2DiD auto with 312,652km.

2)2003 LWB 3.5V6 auto with 186,000km and a full franchise service history.

Guess which one I would go for

I found a nice 2007 swb here in witbank. with 185K Km on the clock for R169900.00. Going to look at it tomorrow during the day and test drive it. On the outside it looks real good and I could not see any flaws on the inside from the outside.

Is the Price ok?

PS: The 120K Budget was the better halfs idea. Oh well so much for that idea

@Roelfeleroux its a gen 3. I will have it by tomorrow if all goes well. The only problem I now have is for the bank to verify my place of work and the college where I work only opens this coming Monday. So hold thumps with me that they dont need to verify it.
