Hi all,

Can somebody help with advice on replacing the 3l petrol engine with a 3.2 diesel engine?
The Pajero I want to do the engine swop in, is a 1994 model. Will the engine bolt on to the old gearbox?
I can also swap the whole drive chain but will it fit without major body changes etc?

The Gen2 came with the 4m40 engine (2800 TDi) as an option.
The 4m41 (3200 Di-D) uses the same engine block, so it will fit without any bodywork modifications.
You might have to modify the engine mountings, though.

Here is a suggestion:

I have a Di-D engine with less than 100k kms on it for sale.
