Sorry long background, the stars has the concerns
We just got back from Kgalagadi - Richtersveld - Witsand and drove hoorendous corrugated roads with trailer. Many things rattled loose and tightend. Never check the engine bay properly!!!
On way back yesterday we left Witsand on 71km hard corrugations. Got on the tar and headed for Vryburg. Pulled into Vryburg Spar, bought some stuff and came out. The cardguard says there is water coming out, lots of water.
Checked temp drove to garage and and more water came out. Checked engine and saw the aircon unit infront of the radiator was loose and knocking against the radiator.
Found mechanics at Mahindra at 14:30.
When we checked we saw one fin was open and water squirting out, the aircon unit had gotten loose and broke the radiator.
They took it out and took it to a radiator place to weld it up. came back we filled it with coolant/water, idled for about 30 minutes until hot and off we went at 17:00, all looking good.
************************Story*************************
As we are slowing down for Delareyville, I see the temp gauge move upwards towards red, until about 3/4 up. where it usually sit at just above 1/4. It goes higher and higher and just under red pull into garage. Check water levels, cant get radiator cap off as they don't have a "rubber". Coolant dripping through bash plate, cant see from where it comes. We sit for half and hour and drive on. Just outside Delareyville, it goes up again and down again, to normal to high to normal to high.
We drive slowly get to Sannieshof. The garage has a "rubber" and he takes the cap and water is very low. He filled it with water and we drove all the way 290km with normal temp until we hit Krugersdorp West. The temp gauge goes up and up and down again and then higher higher. It seems to go higher all the time so pull into garage at 21:00. The pull radiator cap and check water, fills it with a little then loads of coolant bubbles out. So we close it up and drive on. Temp normal again.

Checked the water levels this morning, radiator was a bit empty and overflow was very low. Seems coolant dripping out somewhere.
Filled it now and seems to be dripping coolant but cant seem to see where. Will find radiator place in Roodepoort to check. Will let know what happens
