I have a 1993 3L v6 (6G72). The engine has been completely rebuilt and is running fine, at the same time I fitted a complete new clutch kit.
I bought the vehicle with the motor in pieces so Im not sure how it was before but I find the gears grate when changing up or down.
Has anyone had this?

Try changing the oil, and use "easy shift" 75W 90 gearbox oil.
