I have a 1997 Gen2 3500 GLX with a rusting roof line. I have had the vehicle for about 8 years now and removed the rust once before. It is now at a stage where it cannot be fixed and probably requires the entire roof replaced. About a R10k job! The rest of the vehicle is good except the engine is missfiring at low revs but I'm sure its due to lack of use and just requires some TLC to sort it out. My gut feel says that investing R10k into it will not be worthwhile but I'm not sure what else to do except sell for scrap.
Any advise will be very much appreciated!
