Where to find your next Pajero

A good friend is selling his 2007 Gen4 GLX (he already has a buyer). He doesn't like the large figures on the quote for a new Pajero, so he is looking for a LWB in the R500k range. We have checked the Mitsu SA website and Autotrader. Where else should we be looking?

Ah, I have just trawled Gumtree. Can you believe, it seems the dealers prefer G/T to Autotrader? I have answered my own question.
AND, as per standard procedure is there a V6 2012 with 40k for R370k and a same aged DiD with 60k for R470k. Guess which one I would buy???

I have a 2010 gen 4 GLX (140kW engine) for sale.
150 000kms on the clock - going next week for 150k service.
Will then get new set of rear tyres and have about 10 000kms on front set - BF Goodrich ATs.
Have about R60ks worth of extras available.
Selling reluctantly - moved to a neighbouring country and finding it a mission to have the vehicle serviced. Have to downgrade to a Toyota or similar...

I've viewed that Durban Pajero at the bargain price. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. Whoever had it didn't look after it - even the ceiling of the Paj has plenty of smears. It's definitely accident damaged - and the repair wasn't done very well - it was pretty obvious, even to my untrained eye. The ABS light was constantly flashing while driving and the rear door sensor as well - no doubt due to a back smash (panels didn't line up on the door).
Had a look at the papers, and it didn't register as a built-up, so could have been a minor accident
It did drive well - didn't notice anything alarming (again, I'm no pro in this dept. either).
There's no service history either.
Must be said, the seller was a nice chap and didn't seem to try to hide anything.
Being a bank repo - it's likely that the owner didn't have bucks to service and maintain it properly either - so all in all I'd stay away.
