ABS/ASC sensor problems
Posted on behalf of an SOS

In the process of traveling back from Namibia, staying over at upington , both my abs and both ASC warning lights are on. I have tried switching off ignition and engaging diff locks but won't go off, any idea what the problem is ? And my drive back to JHB tomorrow , will that be fine ? Car drives fine at the moment.

Any ideas. Methinks he can continue home and get it sorted.

Yes. He just wont have ABS and ASC functioning so that should be taken into consideration when braking.

Re: ABS/ASC sensor problems
This also happens when you overheat the ABS. (Switch ASC off when driving on sand roads.) Maybe check the brake fluid? Should reset after it has cooled down, but....
