Hi Guys,

I am servicing the Pajero next week, I have a new tin of Dia Queen ATF oil to change the box oil too. My question is is there anything else to this? Do I just drain the oil and fill up with the new stuff? Are there any filters to consider / change etc... And how much oil does the box take? Is the 5 litres I have got enough?

Shot for the advice okes.

Hi Kapow

I had mine done but I supplied the oil and filter.
As for your question yes replace filter that's from agents only and you need to flush the system so 2 tins required maybe 3.

Search this site I'm sure there is info on how to do it.

Hi Kapow
Here is a link to the page that I used: https://www.pajeroclub.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2115
Followed the instructions and had no problems with the oil and filter change.
TIP: I removed the sump and filter and let the gearbox drain over night. Noticed that quite a bit more had drained over night. This was obviously done in my garage to prevent any dirt from getting to the box.
