Wheel Alignment requiring shims

TWT could not realign my wheels yesterday, saying the left front needs to be shimmed. Why would it need shimming? What might have happened that the tolerances ar now beyond manufacturers spec?

probably just some play in the bearings. they can be tightened up.

Good question. I remember my Colt needed to be shimmed once.

why don't you take it to Johann from 1st Alignment Center to check as well?

You might have had some component bend slightly that will throw the castor out and it could be safely brought back by a small shim
