Hi all

Has anyone made a bicycle carrier that's fits onto the spare wheel???

I have a home made effort that could carry (probably) two Harley's, but is a mission to put on and is heavy.

I got an idea to make a bracket that is strapped to the spare wheel. The bottom of this bracket would then canter lever itself on the bottom of the spare...

My thoughts

Obviously in plan view there will be two arms on top and below gabbing the tire.

Disadvantages:

If I have a flat and need the good tire.... What to do with the bikes.... Plan B?

The trapezium system works pretty well and I've had it on a flat tyre as well because it goes behind the rim as well.

Also an idea. Will look tomorrow. Gen 4 has that funny cover effort over the spare which also carries the number plate, light and rear fog light..... Looked a bit this afternoon, not much space...
