Hi,
I have just completed my dual battery installation on my LWB Gen 4 Paj and now want to get 12v to the rear of the vehicle for fridge etc.
I have considered running the cables under the car / through chassis rails etc. but eventually I want the cables to terminate at a Brad Harrison plug inside the rear of the car, so I'm faced with bringing the cables through the body either at the rear or through the firewall.
I discounted the rear option as it would be below the wade depth and so be a leak risk.
I would prefer to go through the firewall but don't see an easy option - an old post refers to 'in front of the passengers knees'. This should be above the wade depth and also more direct, so looks like a better option.
Are there any existing holes etc in that area that I can use & if so, how do I get to them?

I've never done that but I have removed the cubby a few times. Get a flat plastic thing like an egg lifter, remove the trim (fake wood or plastic) just above the cubby opening. There are three screws there. Remove them. Then under the cubby in the footwell are two 10mm hex bolts and one little plastic clip (on the left). Remove those then wiggle the cubby loose so it hangs down into the footwell. After that I'm not sure, get a torch and have a look.

There is NO place/space to route heavy duty cables via the firewall and under the carpets.
I can not upload the wiring graphics here but the main power cabel enters / exits the firewall in the lower left of the lefthand inner mud gaurd.

I routed 2 x 16mm^2 welding cables though the big grommet in the firewall under fuel filter, and to the rear of the car routed them under the plastic door sills/scuff plates. Terminated in a Brad Harrison plug in bottom of jump seat niche.
