Thanks for the trip report. Glad the Paj performed as it should have. We have got to get these vehicles fuel consumption better though.

Sounds good. Thanks for sharing that. As to the campsite protocol. I've been going to Mabua a few times annually for the past 25 years and was told on my second trip (we were the only ones there on the first) that no ablutions or water sources are 'owned' by anyone - everyone pays the same price. And so it has always been. I think the people who objected to your use of what is essentially a communal ablution are the ones who need to be enlightened about protocol. Had a pride of lions at the Lesholoago A-frame last Saturday and not even they objected to my showering there as there was no water at the Entrance camp - where we had been - or Khiding - where we were going.The Pajero (2000 V6) was thirsty but otherwise great - except for the Bosobogolo/Nossob road shaking the battery off its moorings. Why have battery clamps that hook into plastic slots on a vehicle built for rugged roads?
