My instrument cluster backlight is dead. Turning the reostat does nothing. Any ideas?

2016. Thanks. Found the problem. Borrowed a friends bike trailer, and the trailer popped a fuse on the car. Needless to say, not using the trailer anymore

Having had three Mitsubishis myself and a lot more presently in the family, Mitsubishi's in general do not like "non standard" trailer wiring. If there is something amiss, they pop the fuse very easily / quickly. Probably not a bad thing.
