Running costs of my 2005 Gen3 DID for 2015/2016 - FYI

It's that time of the year again. I compiled a spreadsheet from my SARS logbook, listing all costs concerning my Pajero diesel for the financial year 2015/2016 and is as follows:

Average running cost per km: R2.00 (previous R2.28)

- Total km traveled: 65,154 (previous 56,265km)

- Total diesel used (L): 7,394 (previous 6,249.73)

- Total diesel used (R): R91,234.79 (previous R85,173.20)

- Average diesel cost (R/L): R12.31 (previous R13.63)

- Average consumption (km/L): 8.81 (previous 9.06)

- Total oil: R4,494.45 (previous R3,529.70)

- Total parts: R12,619.91 (previous R25,062.48)

- Total service cost: R10.468.39 (previous R4,628.58)
*see spreadsheet for list of services & details

- Total tracking fees: R2,022.48 (previous R1,964.70)

- Total insurance: R9,424.68 (previous R7,875.88)

PS:

- I only run Delo 400 oil
- Only try to use SASOL diesel ( ABSA Rewards program).
- Current km reading on the clock is 467,357km.
- Engine, turbo, gearbox and all other closed mechanical thingy-majiggies are still original and unopened.

Wish I could get that consumption! :? Do you use her for heavy towing?

No, I very very seldom tow anything. I normally drive 75km to work, open hilly road. Sometime I drive a lot further.

I told Mark when his (old) Pajero reached 400k in your hands. I wonder what he will think if he were to ever see this post.
Amazing what regular clean, good quality oil and filters can do for a solidly designed and built engine.
