Hi all, I have a 2010 pajero-sport and yesterday the Airbag light came on while driving and it has not switched off since.

Does anyone have any idea what the cause could be and how to fix? Hopefully it is not a costly fix.

Reset by disconnecting the batery for 30mins. If it comes back on you will need to test the sensors or the clock spring in the steeringwheel

Update: Disconnecting the battery did not resolve it. How do I test the sensors or clockspring myself or is this only something the dealers can sort out for me?

Hi Toysoldier

I have the same issue with the airbag light on my 2012 Pajero Sport. The agents did reset it at the previous service for a hefty price of R1300. (Labour charge for running diagnostics and resetting) Told me if the problem returns they will have to replace the roof and floor wiring harnesses at R30k +. :o
Have you managed to get your's fixed? I tried the battery disconnect for 30 min but no luck.
Any advice welcome

Thanks
