My guess, if they're only replacing the passenger airbag, is that they only need to remove the cubby hole. My swb was done last year.
Just a minor inconvenience.
At least nobody died in a Pajero before it was fixed.
This is driven from Japan.
In a recent accident where an idiot drove into my new Pajero Exceed on the left side all the airbags deployed on that side. Was shocked at the interior damage this caused but it was covered by the insurance
The installation gets checked by a computer to ensure all is right.
I am grateful for Mitsu and Takata for standing up and fixing their faults.
