I see this issue has been mentioned before.

Just returned from Kgalagadi and was quite annoyed with the wipers and/or indicators coming on constantly whenever the corrugations became a bit hectic!

Has anybody found a cure for this?

You can try a rubber band of suitable length, or even a few tied together, that hooks over the stalk on the left, goes over the steering column, and then hook on the stalk on the right. This should stiffen it up a bit to prevent it from going into the down position so easily.

This is what I am going to try on my next corrugation trip.

Must say it is super annoying and definately a design step backwards from the gen3, which never gave me similar issues.
