Please Advice

My when i switch my lights on my dash boards lights does not come on nor instrumental lights i have gone troughs the fuses , and cant find any blown - what does the indicator look like
and is there any other things to look at before i spend millions on a auto electrical man
Was also looking at getting a manual will i be able to buy from Pajero SA perhaps

Does your car have a 'roller' switch near the lights which you can use to brighten or dim the dash lights? If it does maybe give it a few spins to clear off dirt etc. Once had that in my old Pajero and every now and again it lost contact rendering the dash in complete darkness untill moved around a bit.
