Hi everyone< I live in Edinburgh Scotland and I have a pajero mini4x4 automatic 4 wheel drive 1995 and the gear box is stuck in 2nd gear. could this be to do with the amount of gear box oil in the gear box causing the pressure to be high or low, but I have tried all I can to fix this gear box but to no avail. Even our local dealer can give me the answer................. HELP . Thank you for any suggestions. Rodney Burns
Hi Rodney. First of all check your ATF fluid when it's hot. Also maybe have the oil changed. If problem is still there it's highly possible your torque converter has packed in. Which is inside the gearbox. I suspect your gearbox oil filter may need changing which I think is also inside the gearbox.
