Good morning,
I joined your club on the weekend as I am planning to buy a Pajero. I am in Cape Town and have found what looks like a good one at a dealer in Welkom who is willing to deliver it to CT. It's a '98 blister fender, 208 000km, FSH, 101 Check apparently all good.
Hoping there's a member in Welkom who'd be willing to take a look at, and ideally test drive, the vehicle for me?
Would be very much obliged,
Barak Morgan
Hi, me again, my question has changed slightly. Am now considering a different Pajero LWB blister fender with 130 000km whereas the Welkom one was 208 000km. A guy at acd workshop in Bellville said take the 130 000km one any day over the 208 000km. 130 000km costs R140K which he reckoned was overpriced. Seller (dealer) put 4 new Maxxis 980 tyres, a new clutch, and smash and grab. Vehicle already has a winch and bullbar. The 208 000km one is only R80K for identical vehicle with 80% tyres still!
Any advice on which to buy will be most welcome.

Hi, thanks for reply. I've seen the FSH, mileage seems to check out fine. Only a big service gap between 76 000km and 100 000km (i.e. missed 90 000km service. otherwise pretty regular. What do you think of the price at R140K?
