Gerhard, I don't know exactly what your symptoms are, but we had a similar experience with our DiD just before the battery packed up. I could hear that the motor cranked slower than normal and it took long to start. The DiD seems to need to swing fast to catch quickly. Everything was immediately back to normal whith a new battery installed (The old one dropped me while camping at Mabibi, but that is another story...).

Gerrit thanks. I think I might have found the problem. Either the battery is dying on me or one of the injectors are leaking. Just now it was starting fine and the next its back to long start again. The battery is on charge so I'll know by tomorrow.

All the Gerhards and Gerrits!
Gerrit was to fast for me.
My Di=D developed an intermittent starting problem.
Long story short - bad battery terminal connections.
The ECU relies on very specific voltages, and voltage drops seem to confuse it.
