Gen 3 aircon blowing fuses

I have an issue with my aircon blowing the 10amp fuse on a regular basis.
The vehicle is a 2005 3.2 Did with 325 000 on the clock, still going strong BTW.
The belts are in good condition and the aircon pulley runs freely.
Any advise would be grateful,
