4m41 Injection Pump Inlet/Outlet

Hey guys need some help confirming the inlet and return nipples from the injection pump.
On the pump schematics I have it shows the suction nipple as circle ‘B’
And shows the return nipple as circle ‘A’
Can anyone help confirm this? What i find confusing is the suction nipple ‘B’ is 10mm and connects to the outlet of the fuel filter which is 12mm?
Also the return nipple ‘A’ is 12mm which connects to fuel tank nipple which is 10mm?
Any input is appreciated
