Still looking for a swb toy to play with - not a daily drive and I've come across a few low mileage 3.8 V6 Gen 3 going for a decent price around R110 - 120K and then I found a 2000 3.2 DID with +- 380,000 on it.

It has a FSH serviced by mitsu agents every 7,500 kms, vehicle is in good shape for its year, will need 2 tyres in the near future. Engine sounds good, very little smoke under hard acceleration and everything seems to work ok.

Would you think of buying this with that kms on it? Just bit concerned with fuel system component wear.

What would be a fair price?

I am sure you are becoming aware that Pajero owners, especially SWB owners, are very attached to their vehicles. They have loads of history together and lots of stories.

As such, trying to get an SWB owner to PART with the vehicle is nigh on impossible, unless it is wrecked!

I would suggest that you start negotiating with an ARM!

If the owner is still struggling to accept this, then it will have to be the LEG, as well, I'm afraid!

Hope you finally get the toy you are craving for and have many years of fun with it.

LOL Curly Yes, I'm beginning to think I used all my luck up acquiring Mini Swambo's 2000 SWB 3.2 just over a year ago.

Got it off a fellow FAC club member at a good price, took it to Atlantis dunes and Honingklip and since Mini Swabo has heard what I got up to with it, has banned me from using it...

I seriaas think she has had a total sense of humour failure - I didn't break anything..... OK maybe the small bumper cover under the towbar came off at AD but was rescued and after reading some of the post here, learnt its a common happening in dunes

Hello, I have a 2001 SWB 3,2 manual with 135 000 km on it.
White and in excellent condition. Serviced regularly by me.
New Michelin tyres and no problems.
Not sure if I want to part with it though, so it won't be cheap.
Sometimes want to replace it and my Audi A4 with one vehicle that can go most places, instead of one that can go anywhere and one that does not like the up country roads.
All maintenance and other work is recorded.
Just a thought!

I'm looking at the 3.8 V6 as well seeing they evidently don't cost what the diesels do but I do have a budget I can go to
