Wondering if anyone has removed the factory roof rail, and made custom mounts for a roof rack? I know roof tracks are an option but I wish to only use the original mounting points.

Or if anyone has dimensions of the mounting pads after removing the rail on the swb?

I am led to believe that the tracks (Frontrunner) only use the existing holes, so for me that is the best option.
