Good Morning

Gen 3 2001 3.2DiD Pajero

my drivers side tail light goes out when i press the brake, i believe this is a grounding issue?

Please could someone tell me where are the groundings i need to check for this?

are there any other symptoms i need to check?

My 5c is that there should be a ground connection very close to the light unit, or on the left side unit.

Start there.

Also check the tow hitch plug for a possible loose wire. Thats where I think the problem may be. If it was a ground connection then all the lights connected will be faulty.

it does make sense that if it was a ground issue then it would happen to all lights not just the one, have changed the bulb, not that!

will look and see as you suggest
