Hi Buddies,
1997 3.5 V6 Evolution. Only 84K Km on the clock. Just failed the road test due to emissions. Lambda should apparently be < 0.97 and mine was 1.91. Stuck a bottle of cattaclean in it and tore it up the road for 45 minutes and the value was the same.
I was told this means it is possibly not the catalytic converter that is at fault. But Plugs, leads, O2 sensor.
Anyone have any advice on what to do before the retest? Plugs, leads, O2 sensor? Anything else?
