Good day to all,
I’m desperate for assistance regarding reverse selection not engaging after Autobody oil change. Did everything according to book. Used Dia Queen atf fluid. Engages drive runs smoothly thru the gears. Manual selection perfect. Engages in 4x4 4h and 4 L. Just no reverse. Going on holiday on 22/8/2022. Help greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the "plastic pin" inside the main gear selector. Trawl the web and you will find it, it was about R 180 rand and I replaced mine out of old age. Approx. 35 mm long x 5/6 mm diameter, hollow with a rounded tip.

Remove the main gear lever, two Posi/Phillip screws. be careful they are small and go missing very easily. Carefully remove the gear knob and you will find it under there, lots of silicon grease and away you go.
