Just joined the Pajero family. My 1998 Pajero 3000 V6 peteol SWB, 309000 km is heavy on fuel. Averages 20L/100km whether I am driving extremely carefull or not. Lucky if I get 350km on tank (70L). This is on tar not even offroading. Checked and cleaned throttle body, cleaned MAF. Already have freeflow exhaust. No roofrack, heavy bumper or jumbo tyres.
Major service, cam kit and clutch kit done October 2024.
I read other owners get around 14L/100km with LWB.
What else can I check or do to get it to a more acceptable level of 14-15L/100km?
