I would like to use a MP3 player to play back my songs - don't like driving around with a bunch of cds any longer. How does one intergate a MP3 player into the original Gen3 GLX (brood en botter model) radio? Is there a plug in the back where it needs to be plugged in?
Also, which MP3 player would you recommend? I would like a rugged one that can be used outdoors when we go paragliding or hiking in the mountains - not these fancy iPod stuff that look so flimsy.

MacJ,
I have seen this discussion on a forum before. If my memory serves me right, then you are buggered. Either play through a FM channel or stick a new radio in your Pajero.
I played my iPhone through one of the FM channels (as a test) and it was worse than crappy - not even an option in my opinion.
Luckely I'm old enough to still associate the charging of the 6CD loader as exiting and challenging. Mrs R loves to cut "travel CDs"(interesting combinations of our favourite music) as part of the travel preparation for our holidays. I know: old fashioned, but it goes with the grey beard.
