Blonde moment - A/C

Sat May 01, 2010 8:46 am

A/c doesn't work so I get the voltmeter, bridging wire etc.

check fuses - 100%
bridge the pressure sensor - 100%
bridge the ambient sensor - 100%
check controle module in engine bay - 100%

maybe it's the switch in the dash.......

As I start stripping I check that it's not maybe all the switches, so I switch the recirc button which works and I turn the fan on full to listen if the recirc itself works.

As I turn the fan the A/C kicks in.....

I realised then and there 2 things.

Shalene had turned the fan off completely
I was an idiot for not checking the simple things first.

I'm just glad it was that, and not something else.

I thought I had to share my blonde moment with you guys to get the weekend going.

Have a good weekend and GO BULLS!!!!!!

Ja swaer!

PS Train her never to turn the fan off - that's the only way of getting fresh air into the vehicle.
