Nice ride, where did you get the draw system from? And please show pic of radio, thanks.

Nice little shorty.
I also like the drawers. Yes, perhaps some spacers and a lift kit someday?
Enjoy

Re: My 3.8 Shorty
Do you know what Roelf, I find on solid terrain like dry rock where the rear wheels have good traction that the DL is fine and gives you more control (no waiting for the TC to kick in).
But as soon as the terrain is steep or slippery then the DL causes the rear wheels to kind of “dig in” and spin and then the rear squirms a lot because the front wheels aren’t “pulling” like they do when the TC is active.
So it really depends on the terrain but 9/10 I will leave the DL off and only use it in certain scenarios as mentioned above.
PS - it was a dealership that told me about the software issue when installing a DL, they did however suggest a full diff replacement and a software upgrade IIRC ?

Re: My 3.8 Shorty
The drawers are from Frontrunner, ordered and installed at Safari Centre. The large asymmetric drawers fill the rear end of the shorty (roughly 1000mm*970mm) and leave the foot well open. They had to make little steel brackets to anchor the box due to the cable channels running down the sides.
Head unit is a basic Sony double din, not the one I wanted but it works and came with a cable for the steering wheel controls
