Headlight / Negative Switiching

I installed a device i my gen 3 2005 3.2 Pajero. It used used to have the headlight hig beam alternate. nnstalled is as per the supplier but do have a slight problem. It only works when activate the highbeam via the normal high beam lever. It would seem that the device is switichng the high beams off. This is suppose to owrk the other way round. It need to switch it on. I've read about the negative switching but not sure how to rectify this. Can anone inform me how I can resolve it?

Got this fixed. All working as it should. Had to change the power source on the device itself.
