Enjoy the weekend everybody. I'm still mad at myself for messing things up. :(

Have a great weekend and drive safe.

Gentlemen,

1) We will miss the "missing" faces this time round, hope to see you again next year.

2) I hope the guys that got close to coming this year will be in a better position next year.

3) For the attendees: Remember to be completely self sufficient for the braai next to the river.

4) Remember to have a fully stocked cooler and lunch basket.

5) Most important, remember to show up @ 9am at the parking area in front of the town museum.

6) Even more important, remember to bring your Pajero.

7) Even more than more important, remember to enjoy the day.

Hi All,

Finally the day arrived :D , I was really looking foreward to this day.
I will leave Pretoria in about three hours time for Barberton, staying at Oppi Koppi, apparently not far from the Town Museum.

Drive Safely.

BRILLIANT! STUNNING!

Roelf - Big thank you again from me for taking the time, effort and organization to share your mountains with us. Thank you for the fascinating history and geology shared.

Thank you to all those that participated. It was wonderfull to share this trip with you. Each and every participant was a joy to chat with.

Thank you to our trusty Pajero's that took us up and down the mountain and through some hair raising Zigzag washout angles in comfort.

If Roelf is willing to have us back we will definately be there! Maybe camping on top of the mountains next time as well.

To all those that missed out. You missed out BIG. Start saving and diarising for next year. I see the Pajero Sport owners are a bit low (zero) attendance. Where are you guys?

Simon, you need to get a modern calendar and then count the weeks from the 21st of January  . Distance between your home and the Barberton Mountainland is a more acceptable excuse ;)

I also wish to officially thank the guys on the mountain for "chipping in" and sponsoring me with that amazing Pajero jacket. Now I can't wait to retire to the West Coast where I can put it to good use.

I'm mounting an expedition on 19 November to try and find a route from Eagles Nest to Eureka City. If that is successful, then we will be in for some new scenery (and challenges) next year.
