What model / year is your Pajero? Late 2007 Gen4 3.2 DiD GLX LWB
How much mileage had your Pajero done? 330 000km
Is it the original motor? Yes
Any major work? Injectors/pump were done at 295,000kms at Alan Black [R31000], new shocks, otherwise only wear and tear items. Doing 4 discs + pads + service today +-R16 000 at agents.
Installed Racechip in Nov15, love it!!
Steering/suspension creaking when turning, don't know if it's power steering/suspension/shocks.
Have not seen a GEN4 with more miles on than this one, [but must say I have not checked every post].
Starting to look at a Touareg, as bought heavy caravan and need more power. But might keep the GLX as I've been driving Mitsus for 15 years and can't see myself not having one.

How much mileage had your Pajero done? 348,000km

Any major work? Somewhere around 300,000km the motor began cutting out arbitrarily. Alan Black redid the pump twice and fitted new injectors, but could not resolve it (it cut out twice yesterday after 18 months without a cough). Starter motor was replaced twice as result of trying restarts after cut outs while still on the move-bad idea! Performance and lightness on it's feet of this old baby still streets ahead of the same vehicle, '07 version ("The Pouting Princess"), which I'm trying to bring up to scratch...

Pajero Newbie.
2009 3.2 Gen 4 with over 200 000km on the clock. Had her now for 3 months and loving every moment.
Planning to do Namibia in June towing a Conqueror Companion as she has never been off the tar.
Still need to
- plan trip (Southern Part)
- Figure out what critical spares to take
- Equip her with some accessories
-Compressor
-dual battery
- She has had all her services done with Mitsubishi. looking for an alternative on the west rand to service her.
So this site will come in handy
