Front Lights

Excuse my ignorance, but I am new to Pajeros! In the front of the vehicle, at the bottom of the bodywork, there are two small round lights. I cannot find out how to switch them on. Maybe there is a blown fuse, but have searched and cannot find one. What are these lights, and how are they supposed to be switched on. My Pajero is a 1997 lwb, 2800 Exceed if that helps.

Thanks for the reply...I am one of those people who need to know if things work or not. Certaily no fog here in Zim, but I wanted to know anyway. I will see if I have such a switch on my dash, but offhand I dont think so. I do not have any extra non-working lights at the back. My tail lights comprise normal brake, tail and reverse, all in a cluster on the side of the back door. Nothing lower down or in the bumper. All the rear lights work normally with the normal headlight stalk switch next to the steering wheel.

Zimbo's 1997 model Paj is a Gen 2. It is probably a Jap import; hence the functional upper tail light clusters and no lights in the bumpers.
I used to own a 2000 Gen 2 (actually two of them in a row) and it had factory front and rear fog lamp switches next to each other to the right of the steering wheel if I recall correctly.
