Hi - we're off to see family in Vic Falls before Xmas so need accommodation near Nata on the way up and near Francistown on the way back.
I'm pretty decided on Elephant Sands on the way up - kill the journey on day one and have a relaxing dawdle to the Falls. I was keen to do the Pandamatenga border road as we did it in our Forrester last year in Winter but Swambo reluctant to do it alone and Zim family agree that during rainy season not clever to go alone?
It's on the way back I'm not sure - don't really want to stay in Francistown itself - does anyone know of a Lodge type place South of Francistown - even if not on the main Palapaye road?
Thanks in advance
Tom

Re: Overnight Chalets For Vic Falls Trip
We camped at Woodlands - just north of Francistown in June.
Facilities were good. They also have chalets. Not sure about what they're like, but given quality of campsite would surprised if they're not good.
Here is there website http://www.woodlandscampingbots.com/

Re: Overnight Chalets For Vic Falls Trip
Thanks PCT - I found Woodlands on other forums and it seems good. Ideally I'd like to get further South of Francistown but might have to settle for it.
