Hey guys...
I have a message in my center display panel that says "Set Display Key Panel". And you can't turn the radio on or change any displays...
Anyone have any ideas? I've pushed every singel button... 03/04 Gen 3 SWB DiD

Hi Gavin
Check the detachable face plate of your radio. Take it out and make sure that it is inserted correctly

Re: Help! Set Key Display Panel
If that doesn't work just press the set key on the radio, should get rid of the "set display key panel" on the radio. There is a fix to the time problem, I had it too, just can't remeber the fix for that though. I think it had something to do with a time setting to a radio station in SA. It can be resolved though.

Re: Help! Set Key Display Panel
Thanks
Unfortunately just not working for me... ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)
Can't seem to turn the CT off.
I tried the stuff in the post you recommended: (https://www.pajeroclub.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2241). See points 1 & 2 below:
1. You hold in the sound menu for a few secs, then you'll get an option that say's CT off/on. Switch it off, voila! No more wrong time.
Negatory - number 1 did nothing, no option to switch CT on or off even if I held the audio button in for a long time![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)
2. Process: turn ignition on so dashboard lights come on. Turn Radio off using on off button on radio. Hold in channel 4 button and at the same time push in on off button and the CT will disappear.
Negatory - number 2 did nothing either![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)
I guess I'm going to have to phone the radio station and tell them to set their bloody cock right coz I'm too stupid to figure out how to turn off the CT...
Maybe it's just My turn to RTFM![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Help! Set Key Display Panel
SOLVED... yay... !!
I RTFM...
Point 2 WAS valid, just a small step was left out![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Process: turn ignition on so dashboard lights come on. Turn Radio off using on off button on radio. Hold in channel 4 button and at the same time push in on off button and the CT will disappear. (Keep holding in the pwr button till it beeps!)

Re: [SOLVED] Help! Set Key Display Panel
Gavin,
I was also stumped by not HOLDING the power button in - and mentioned it in that thread at the end
Methinks you need to sharpen up on your reading skills
Further to that thread: I also received a strange "ALARM" message on the radio at some point. Eventually did the RTFM thing and found it to also be radio station related. It is an emergency system in Japan and will not only override whatever is on your radio at the time, but even turn on a radio to get the message across. Imagine my surprise when the radio turned itself on, the aerial started going up and the word "ALARM" appeared on the screen. This lasted maybe five seconds before the screen went blank and the radio and aerial went to sleep again. All I can think is that I drove through a frequency identical to that of the emergency broadcast in Japan.
I honestly and truly hope that the system saved a few lives during their terrible tsunami disaster.
