Problem with Pajero 2011 Bluetooth microphone

I purchased a 2011 Pajero 3.2 DiD LWB earlier this year. It came with a factory fitted CASKA multimedia radio etc including Bluetooth handsfree. The microphone on the original unit did not work at all and was replaced by Planetworld. The microphone is now working but people battle to hear me and I am told that it sounds like I am talking talking from under the sea. Has anyone else with a new Pajero with a Caska unit installed had a similar problem? Any ideas?

I have a Pajero with the same unit as yours, and have not experienced any issues with the Bluetooth phone voice quality.

Does it do the same when the vehicle is stationary?

I have just purchared a Gen 4 DiD Pajero GLX LWB....problems with the mic too. I can clearly hear the person I call. They cannot hear me.

I also find the manual supplied refers to an earlier audio system. Either I was supplied with the incorrect manual, or the Mitsubishi cut corners? Does the manual for the 140 Kw Pajero cover the MICS system?
