2.4 Pajero Sport 2018, 8 speed ATF

Hi all,

I am new to the forum. I have a 2018, 2.4 Pajero sport with the 8 speed transmission. I want to do a ATF flush and filter change. I had to order the ATF filter from Mitsubishi and received it today. The ATF listed for this box is Mitsu Diaqueen MA-1. This ATF is however not stocked by Mitsu SA.

Does anybody know which ATF is suitable from any other brands? I have found Motul ATF VI that seems to be compatible. Can anybody perhaps advise?

I previously had a 2012, 3.2 sport and serviced and flushed the auto box a couple of times. Does anybody know if the transmission on this newer model can also be flushed by disconnecting the pipe in front going to the trans cooler and starting the car just adding fluid till new fluid comes out?
