Good morning all
I have a problem that requires assistance. Sporadically, in the early mornings, when I start my car, the hooter will just go off and I am unable to stop it without pulling the relay. I don't know if the issue is the hooter or alarm and any suggestions are welcome.
This issue appears to be on cold mornings and when it raining, but, mainly when its cold.
I have taken out all the door sensors and cleaned them, sprayed with electrical cleaner.
Thanks

Re: Alarm/Hooter issues
Hi guys
To anyone else with this issue!! My problem became serious when the hooter stayed on all the time. I found various steering wheels at scrapyards, but, the guys did not seem keen on selling the airbag section or complete steering wheel which houses the hooter unit.
I found the fix online and was reluctant to try as it meant messing with the airbag. I eventually decided to give it a try, and it works, awesome!! Use the link below, take your time and you can potentially save yourself thousands. Everyone, auto electricians etc all want to check everything but the actual hooter.

I hope that someone finds this useful, and if your in the western cape and need a hand, give me a shout.
